Mazu Films was founded in 2021 by Ting Poo and Jenny Turner who met over a decade ago while working on various  projects. By combining their expertise in unscripted development, production and post production, they created Mazu to make documentary films.

Currently, Mazu is working on multiple feature documentary projects with various partners. Notably, a film on legendary K-Pop founder Lee Soo Man with This Machine Filmworks and Amazon Studios as well as a feature documentary on Christina Aguilera with TIME Studios and Roc Nation.
